A phenomenon of luminous flavor. The fateful collision between two distinct beer styles appears with every sip as a stirring glow of flickering juniper and pineapple-like notes. Unable to be explained. Meant only to be enjoyed.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, orange peel, peach, pear, pineapple, coriander, red apple, peppercorn, clove, juniper, spruce, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, earthy hops, and moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, orange peel, peach, pear, pineapple, coriander, red apple, peppercorn, clove, juniper, spruce, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate peppery yeast spiciness and pine/herbal/grassy/citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, peach, pear, pineapple, coriander, red apple, peppercorn, clove, juniper, spruce, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, earthy hops, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero astringent hop/spice flavors after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. High carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. A bit prickly/foamy on carbonation. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.1%. Overall this is a very nice Belgian white IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, earthy hops, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink; with the balanced bitter/spicy/drying finish. More earthy/noble on hops than I hoped for; but has well balanced spices and Belgian yeast, with a solid wheat/Pils malt backbone. A very enjoyable offering, and nice style example.
