Bought this bottle because I wanted a ticker, not really fond of strawberries in beer. Looks like a darker yellow beer. Head but no real stand out aroma. Taste is quite sweet, alarmingly and then thankfully a little tartness sets in. Yes the mild tartness sets off the almost cloying sweetness, just barely. Lets try another swig..... Now a little metal comes thru on the nose. Taste is not quite artificial strawberry but there certainly is some unfermented sugar things going on here. In the middle that sweet thing almost gets annoying, is it real strawberries? Can't tell. Anyhow, it is a fruity beer, with something in there, and the sweetness is in yer face, but at least it doesn't come across like artificial strawberry candy.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 718/2017. Pours slightly hazy golden orange/amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy and lightly tart/tangy strawberries, cracker, toasted biscuit, light caramel, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of strawberries, bready malt, and light earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy and lightly tart/tangy strawberries, cracker, toasted biscuit, light caramel, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal/grassy/spicy hop bitterness and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/juicy strawberries, cracker, toasted biscuit, light caramel, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberries, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/tartness balance, and zero astringent hop/fruit flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitter/tartness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, bready/grainy, fairly tangy/acidic, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is an excellent fruit beer! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberries, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mildly tart/bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Perfectly balanced juicy strawberries and rich bready Munich malt flavors; with just enough noble hops to balance the fruit/malt sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
