12oz can. Maybe not as thick as I would associate a NE IPA with, but most examples I see that fit that mold are fresh on tap. Creamy, pleasant mouthfeel. Juicy, tropical hops tones...deep papaya, mango. Really solid offering, one of the first national releases for the style. Would by a lot more of it if not for the price tag.

Pour is a hazy lemonade lookalike with a small white head. Aroma is a pretty nice pineapple and papaya. Very fresh and fruity. Flavor is again a decent tropical fruit with some orange peel. There is some residual white sugar sweetness that shows up as well. This was a fine new school IPA. Probably not as hazy or juicy as some from up New England way but I would get this again.

12 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but was just released locally. Pours fairly hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice thick soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, honey, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, honey, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, honey, wheat, cracker, biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an excellent NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Super juicy Citra hops with perfectly balanced malts. Never overly sweet/heavy feeling. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example; despite being less hazy than most others. Post review I discovered some yeast was cemented on the bottom of the can after I rinsed it out; so it probably could have been more hazy after all.

Keg atvthe brewery tap in Denver. Pours cloudy gold with a creamy, white head. The aroma holds melon, peach, grapefruit, passion fruit. Light-medium sweet flavourbwith subtle piney bitterness, some pale bread, more juicy passion fruit and nectarine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, more peach, white grape. Quite enjoyable.

Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. A hazy golden orange pour with plenty of rocky foam head. Sweet impressions on the aroma. A ton of mango in the flavor, with a peach and juicy orange secondary. An odd ssweetness to it, which is a little off for me. The slightest vanilla.cream note. A couple off flavors here and there for me, but this was good as an overall. The competition in the style is tough, so that doesnβt make it any easier. Enjoyable.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a murky apricot color with a huge foamy white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was bitter with cactus and cat pee. The flavor was dry, tart and bitter with lemon, cactus and cat pee. Long finish. Medium body. Pretty awful - like all New England style IPA beers.

On tap at Epic Denver, pours a cloudy opaque bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out stone fruits, dank hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is fruity and dank, with lots of stone fruits, dank citrus hops, and enough biscuity malt to back. Not particularly deep, but it's certainly well-made. Good stuff.
