12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours crystal clear golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, mango, melon, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/earthy hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, mango, melon, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, mango, melon, berry, lemon/orange peel citrus rind, pepper, pine, honey, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/earthy hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate dryness from lingering bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 7.5%. Overall this is a delicious IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/earthy hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink; despite the aggressively bitter/resinous/drying finish. Very dank and vibrant hops, and nice malt backbone with no residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering.

Smells like pines, freshly cut pine cones. Looks thick and viscous. Rather rude on the taste buds as with all good IPA. It looks syrupy and it is, yes, sticky shit on the taste buds too. . Wew. big impact but hides the alky fairly well, would never know this is almost 8%, did I say wew? If you like IPA ignore my numbers, this BS is terribly on style and will kick you in the jaw, wew. This style will ever be difficult to figger out.

Sample at Daily Growler. The beer is a clear dark amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates gradually. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, pine and malt. Medium-bodied with a resiny hops character and notes of malt and fruit. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hops aftertaste. Above average overall.
