Slight hints of coriander and orange peel partner perfectly with Sterling and Opal Hops to set off this sessional Gluten-Free Ale.

Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: murky orange/amber color with a thin cap of a little white foamy head which dissipated fairly quick to leave some light lace
Aroma: some orange sweetness, lemon sweetness, light coriander, caramel/toffee malts, some herbal tones
Flavor: mildly sweet with a subtle crisp coriander spice tone trying to balance from under; finishes orangey, lemony with a speck of coriander
Texture: just a wee touch under medium bodied, some kind of sessionability about this beer, light smoothness, some coriander sharpness but nothing damaging
Overall: supposedly this is a gluten free ale, I guess? well, cool enough, I didn't mind this for me, I'm guessing gluten free drinkers could give this a shot.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 6/23/2017. Pours fairly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger foamy white head with decent retention, that reduces to a light spotty lace cap that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass. Good appearance. Aromas of lemon, lime, orange peel, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, coriander, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, lightly toasted bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, lime, orange peel, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, coriander, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, lightly toasted bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate yeast spiciness, herbal bitterness, and light tart/tangy buckwheat notes on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, lime, orange peel, pear, apple, white grape, coriander, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, lightly toasted bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitter/spiciness balance. Slight lingering bitter/spicy astringency, but not overwhelming. Light-moderate dryness from bitter/spiciness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is good. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a very solid Belgian pale ale. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Very well made for a true gluten free beer, and fits the style. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours light gold with a slight white head. Aroma hints at zest. Maybe light citrus/spice. Med minus body. It just does not taste much like beer to me, and there’s a papery aftertaste. Definitely something spice in the finish. Bitter. Not my thing. Gluten removed beers are a lot more beer.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear yellow color with a small white head. A big lemon and pils malt nose. Big pils malt, lemons, zesty. Very light and fizzy. Not great. Ok.
