Pint can pours with a totally opaque dull deep gold body that supports a nice white head of foam. The aroma offers up dry clementine, cold pineapple, some floral hops and a sense of tropical fruitiness. The taste delivers both juicy citrus and tropical fruit notes as well as bitter grapefruit, floral hops and a bit of resiny grassiness. Nice.

On tap at GTMW 2017. Pours a hazy yellow with a slight orange hue and a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has sweet citrus, a hint of flora and grains backing. Flavor has sweet citrus, a bit of OJ, sweet onion with grains and bread underlying.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/20/2017. Pours very hazy/cloudy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, grassy, citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 7%. Overall this is an outstanding NE IPA! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the very mildly bitter finish. Glad they revamped the recipe. Way more hazy, juicy, and less bitter on hops; perfect malt balance without being sweet/heavy feeling. A highly enjoyable offering.
