Lightly hazy golden with a thin white head. A bit sweet, light malt, toast, and faint hops. Not much here but would probably make a good hot weather beer.

Nondescript gray and white can, considering the stupid labels I’ve seen, this is refreshing to the eye. Smells like slightly malty pale lager. Decent co2. Medium sharp pilsner bite that doesn’t get on your nerves. Yes, like many other craft pale pils lagers. Not bad overall. Somewhat refreshing after a little yard work. From a pittsburgher’s point of view, I can appreciate the preamble.

12 ounce can into lager glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy pale straw color with a small dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, pear, cracker, lightly toasted bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. A bit yeasty/fruity but not overwhelming. Flavors of lemon, pear, cracker, lightly toasted bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, lightly toasted bread, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and solid robustness of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Fairly clean on lager flavors; a bit yeasty/fruity, but not overwhelming. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, clean, and fairly grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a nice German pilsener style. All around good balance and solid robustness of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. Not as flavorful or clean on lagering as others I’ve had, but hits all the style notes really well. A nicely enjoyable offering.

This beer pours a clear yellow-gold color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Strings of lacing. The aroma consists of herbal hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, fruit and grainy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short spicy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

12 ounce can shared by tia and HopTsing at the 22nd Ratebeer Gathering. Hazy pale golden, large frothy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of biscuity malt, floral hops. The taste is bready malt, grassy hops, a bit of citrus. Thin-medium bodied.
