The 2016 release of Dusk till Dusk is a blend of eight hand selected barrels of our most imperial stout aged in a variety of rum and bourbon barrels for 6-18 months. It offers huge aromas of plum, dried fig, cedar box, and dark cocoa. The mouthfeel is ultra silky with flavors of brown sugar, maple syrup, molasses, and dark chocolate. With just enough residual sugar to balance out the higher ABV of 13.8%, it’s decadence in a glass. These are some layers that you can really sink your teeth into!

12oz can I drank at The Wine Source in Bmore. I shared this can with the people at the bar because who needs 12oz of 13% beer? Simply put, its not a bad beer but it is definitely a sweet beer. Covers up a lot of the beer but some alcohol still around. Smooth thick mouthfeel and I wouldn't call it sticky sweet a la some of the oldf Bruery beers but definitely sweet.

10/17/2016. 12 oz can poured into a tulip. Bought a 4 pack from a friend, thanks Mike! Black with some tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, whiskey, alcohol. Tastes of dark chocolate, sweet whiskey, some rum, caramel and butterscotch, a little dark fruit and raisin. Full body with a dry finish. Alcohol is there on the aroma, but very well masked on the taste. Excellent. 8/4/9/4/18

Got in a BIF from oline73. 12 ounce can into snifter, canned in 9/2016. Pours dense and opaque dark brown/black color with a small fairly dense tan head with solid retention, that reduces to a spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the lace. Aromas of huge milk chocolate, cocoa, molasses, caramel, vanilla, brown sugar, toffee, coffee, fudge, maple syrup, rum, bourbon, raisin, fig, plum, date, tobacco, oak, and roast/toasted earthiness. Incredible aromas with fantastic complexity and balance of dark/roasted malt and rum/bourbon barrel notes; with great strength. Taste of huge milk chocolate, cocoa, molasses, caramel, vanilla, brown sugar, toffee, coffee, fudge, maple syrup, rum, bourbon, raisin, fig, plum, date, tobacco, oak, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light roast bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, molasses, caramel, vanilla, brown sugar, toffee, coffee, fudge, maple syrup, rum, bourbon, raisin, fig, plum, date, tobacco, oak, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roasted malt and rum/bourbon barrel flavors; with zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Minimal dryness from roast or barrel spice. Light carbonation and huge full body; with a very smooth, creamy, silky, slick, and rich mouthfeel that is insane. Alcohol is extremely well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish; and zero barrel booziness. Overall this is an insane barrel aged imperial stout! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roasted malt and rum/bourbon barrel flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the enormous ABV. Pretty much perfectly balanced between malt and barrel notes; without being boozy at all. Not as roasty as I expected for a stout, but the level of complexity is mind blowing. A really amazing offering.
