Clear gold with a generous white head. The aroma is fruity, some citrus, orange but no grapefruit or lemon. The flavor is lightly sweet and fruity. No real stand out orange flavor. some dryness in the finish, but again, no real hop flavors coming out. OK, but could use a bit more orange and more hops.

Pale clear. Thin head. Smell is boozy volatile IPA perfume, no BO here. Typical tasting IPA but perhaps, just perhaps, I taste a little citrus in there? And again, perhaps if I didn’t look at the label I would not have tasted it? Must be mental. I must say, it does have more co2 than yer typical mouth coating eye-pah. Typical rude nasty ubiquitous IPA bullshit. However, if you like IPA, go tick this one off, you may like it.

On tap at OBF 16. Pours a yellow color with a small white head. A rotting fruity funky nose. The flavor is oranges, a bit funky, dry earthy malt. Solid.

Bottle. A- Oranges, citrus, musty, bland. A- Orange color, clear liquid, white head. T- Stale, overripe oranges, musty. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- Grabbed this because I was not thinking. And after drinking it, I can reaffirm it was a mistake to grab it. Some blood orange and tangerine but overall, very bland and a little stale tasting. Eh.

Aroma is malt and hints of hops and orange. Flavor has the orange coming on a bit stronger. Not a lot of hop or even really flavor. Palate is soft and kind of bitter; which sort of works. It’s an ok beer.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Light blood orange aroma - hint of citrus zest, maybe. Med body, nearly. Flavor is blood orange, citrus, and I’d say zest. Light caramel backbone. It is flavorful, but it isn’t in your face flavor. Makes a break. Likely a good pool beer. Finishes bitter, more than I expected at the start.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a bright golden color with a medium sized creamy white head that left great lacing. The aroma was yeasty, almost chalky and citric. The flavor was tart and tangy with citrus, vague orange, and almost phenol. Thin, watery and astringent. Medium length finish. Light body. Not good.

Crowler from share on 6/11/16. Bright, clear golden body with frothy white head. Malts first, hops second in aroma. Taste follows the same pattern. Not as citrusy as you would think given the name.

Crowler at the bottle share. Golden orange pour with a finger of creamy white head. Citrus fruit aroma and orange. Good citrus flavor and use of the blood orange, nice balance of sweet and bitter hops.
