Bourbon nose, maybe caramel. Murky brown, thin tan head. Bourbon flavor to the exclusion of all else. Medium body, warm, easy carbonation. Probably wet barrels, base beer is imperceptible. Not overly boozy though.

Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy "brown sugary" color with no real head. Aromas of bourbon, vanilla and treacle/brown sugar. Full bodied or nearly. There’s a touch of heat, but the flavor is treacle/brown sugar with a decent level of bourbon. Somehow it seems rather dry, and there’s enough wood to give an impression of bitter - or maybe it’s a wood/heat combo. Works really nice IMHO.

Candied malt with some oak. A good dose of booze. Not super drinkable. Reddish amber pour with ok head and lacing. Sweet finish then asteingent in aftertaste that isn’t pleasant.

Pours deep mahogany into a snifter. Bright white head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Dark caramel and bourbon aromas. Thick with sweet vanilla, caramel, and warming bourbon upfront turning to dry oak and bitter earth int he lasting finish.
