Strong Hops and Citrus scents blend with the Sweet malts to make the most tantalizing Aromas fill the air as soon as the top is cracked. The first second of strong hops causes a quick sensation in one’s heart, hoping against all that this doesn’t turn out to be a bad decision but wait for that second to pass.
Beyond that, you will experience an enjoyable medium hop flavor and robust malt. It’s a fantastic IPA with a medium body, smooth texture and excellent balance.

Enjoyed at gabf 2014. It pours with a nice clear deep copper body that has thin gold edges and supports a tan head of foam. The aroma starts off with a mix of sweet malts as well as citrus hoppy sweetness and then it grows into spicy hops that have a pleasing earthy tea like edge. I’m really liking this combination of aromatics that beckon for you to take a swig. The taste is similar with a little bit of sweet malts that sweeten up a citrus hoppiness creating a citrus gummy bear candy sort of note that is quite mild. It then quickly moves into more resiny hop bitterness coming from pine and spicy grassy hoppiness flowing into a pleasing degree of earthy tea and dryness that takes this into the finish. Lovely. Wow, no love for this beer yet in the ratings. To me this is a damn good beer that I would love to have more of.

Keg at Coronado brewpub, Coronado Island, SD 20/04/14. Clear dark amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pine, bitter orange, light perfume, spice, hoppy notes. Taste comprises caramel malt, light florals, perfume, red graperuit, bitter orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with hop bitternes. Ok stuff but lacks depth for the ABV presented!
