12 ounce bottle into pint glass; no bottle dating, but was a fairly recent release. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, orange peel, coriander, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of fruity yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with decent strength. Taste of lemon, orange peel, coriander, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, coriander, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good balance and solid robustness of pale malt, spices, and fruity yeast flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and slightly creamy/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is a good spiced blonde ale style. All around good balance and solid robustness of pale malt, spices, and fruity yeast flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.
