On tap @ Mudville 9. This is a near clear one, golden in color and a nice big lasting and softly lacing white head. Smells really good with lots of sweet fruits, red fresh berries, candy and peaches. Well hopped also. Nice smelling one. Like the tastes also. More ipaish than a DIPA imo, definitely not a typical American strong ale. Hoppy, red berry infused. It has a oily texture in the mouth and it's about average on the small prickling carbonation. Works well in the heat. 19.06.2015

12 ounce bottle. Hazy Amber pour has a small creamy beige head. Bready malt aroma has fruity notes. Bittersweet fruity malt flavor upfront. Notes of tropical fruit, bread, floral hops and tangerine. Dry bitter finish and aftertaste.

Pours gold into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Caramel and sourdough aromas. Dusty hot hay and caramel upfront turning to a sharp roasted nut finish.Could be the age, but this is really weird.

I planned on retiring from southern tier but alas my ticking knows no bounds so when filling out a flight I went with new beer rather than known quality. But this is a decent effort. Orange gold nose is sweet candied fruits. Tastes of honey dew, pineapple, grass, plenty of malt, and sugar. Creamy palate.

Cashew, wood, caramel, and lemon zest nose, fairly oxidized. Cloudy amber, thin yellow head. Wood and orange peel, dry hints of honey. Medium body, moderate carbonation, rather harsh. Probably a bit overattenuated, but decent.

Plenty of bitterness but not that big on fresh hop flavor or aroma. Just OK

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark orange-amber color with a medium sized fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was crisp citrus and tropical fruits. The flavor was sour caramel, bread, citrus, sugar and tropical fruit. Long finish. Full body.

Bottle. A hazy, dark golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. Rather piney aroma with some grapefruit and a good dash of bready pale malts. The flavor has bready, malty sweetness as a backdrop for piney, grapefruity malts. Full body, soft and pleasant carbonation and sort of sweetish on the palate. Lasting bitter finish. Rather uninteresting this one, sort of disappointing. 150621
