Man, been gettin a few bottles from arbor lately. This is a cloudy dirty looking brew. Be-careful, this is not yer typical strawberry blonde, she packs a kick. Heavy alcohol taste bud palate coating impact. Nope, this is not a light alky blond at all. Thicker almost cloying effects from the spices mixed with alky I guess. Different kind of strawberry juice spiced thing, would almost think this feels like a domestic barleywine; you know, sweet higher alky untrained roughness. Perhaps if it aged a bit? Could not drink 2.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours hazy deep orange/amber color with a small off white head with poor retention, that reduces to a minimal ring of lace pretty quickly. Minimal lacing on the glass. Aromas of strawberry, mango, apricot, orange peel, pear, coriander, honey, toast, biscuit, light caramel, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of strawberry, spices, fruity yeast, and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big strawberry, mango, apricot, orange peel, pear, coriander, honey, toast, biscuit, light caramel, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Minimal herbal/spice bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of strawberry, mango, apricot, orange peel, pear, coriander, honey, toast, biscuit, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of strawberry, spices, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; with no cloying sweetness present after the finish. Light carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good fruited imperial blonde style. All around good balance and robustness of strawberry, spices, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; and very smooth to drink for the ABV. A nicely enjoyable offering.

bottle - Pours pinkish amber and smells of strawberries. It’s sweet with strawberries, bready malt, and a little hops bitterness. This refreshing brew is pretty good as fruit beers go.

Bottle. Hazy amber-orange body, thin buff head. Nose of honey, strawberry, and spice (perhaps coriander). Sugary body with spices and strawberry, finishing with caky esters and a hint of alcohol. I’m not a big fan of the blend.

Served on draft at the Michigan Summer Beerfest, 2010, as part of RBSG festivities. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a medium offwhite head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of peach, strawberry and slightly nutty notes. The taste is strawberry with some bready notes. Slightly bitter. Medium bodied. Decent.

Bottle. Pours a dark gold, definitely some brown in there, with a small off-white head. Aroma has a nice fresh strawberry note with underlying caramel. Flavor has more of a grain and caramel note with the strawberry coming out in the finish.
