At first I thought this was going to be a pretty good witbier as the head was huge for me and last a long time. Aroma was also very good with yeast and Spice. But body was thin watery and flavor was drab.koo

Beermiscuos, Chicago tap: pours light gold with a white head. Aroma is spice, kinda cheesy, and some fruitiness. Taste is nice and spicy. Tangy finish. Not sweet. Nice.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Very highly carbonated on the pour. Pours hazy bright golden color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense foamy lacing clings down the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, pear, apple, light banana, orange peel, coriander, clove, wheat, bread, honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance a complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt/honey notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, light banana, orange peel, coriander, clove, wheat, honey, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy herbal/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, light banana, orange peel, corander, clove, wheat, honey, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt/honey flavors; with a great malt/yeast/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. The carbonation seemed to dissipate on it’s own fairly quickly, and it never felt overly sharp or prickly. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice witbier style. All around good complexity, balance, and robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt/honey flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
