12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled in 7/2014. Pours slightly hazy deep golden color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon zest, orange peel, grapefruit, herbal, floral, grass, light pine, cracker, biscuit, light honey, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops and pale/bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange peel, grapefruit, herbal, floral. grass, light pine, cracker, biscuit, light honey, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of earthy pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, orange peel, grapefruit, herbal, floral, grass, light pine, cracker, biscuit, light honey, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of citrus/earthy hops and pale/bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly sticky/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice pale ale. It felt like a blend of American and English styles. All around good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops and pale/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Cloudy straw-orange body, thick dissipating puffy off-white head. Toasty, biscuity nose with moderate piny, spicy hops bitterness. Light, bready body with faded, slightly bitter hops, and earthy, dirty yeast.
