Bottle @home. Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma color cappuccino media. Al naso note di caffé, cioccolato fondente, vegetale (peperoncino). In bocca è mediamente dolce all'attacco con chiusura amara decisa, leggermente piccante. Corpo pieno, carbonazione media. Non male.

Bottle from Park Fever, Hither Green. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is dark roast coffee, prunes, dark chocolate, bourbon, burnt toast, caramel. Flavours of dark chocolate, coffee, hit of bourbon, light smoke, black treacle. Roasty toasty mouthfeel. Dry, robust finish. Very nice.

ABV: 12.5%. Clear dark brown black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, barrel, chili fruit, bourbon, wood, smoke, alcohol, light coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, bourbon, smoked, dark malt, chocolate, blackcurrant, coffee, barrel, coffee filter, meat smoke. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is sof, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20201105]

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Black with small brown head. Aroma of chocolate, bourbon and coffee. Mid sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Dark chocolate and bourbon dominates, but somewhere the black currant comes through. Mild peppery finish. Surprisingly balanced and harmonious, expectedly rich.
