16 ounce can into lager glass, no canning date. Pours slightly cloudy golden amber color with a small fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of honey, biscuit, cracker, pear, apple, grape, floral, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance of malt and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of honey, biscuit, cracker, pear, apple, floral, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of honey, biscuit, cracker, pear, apple, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice flavor balance and robustness of malt and clean yeast ester flavors; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and moderately crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good Helles lager. All around good balance and robustness of malt and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
