Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Aarhus. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, light bread, grassy hops, flowers, bitter fruity hops. Flavor is rather bitter, malt, grain, bitter hops, grass, flowers, bitter citrus. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet and rather bitter finish. 120917

Decent Nobel hops here amd a crisp and clean finish. Hazy golden pour with good head and lacing. Some raw barley. Tap at brewery.

Dark gold appearance. no head. mmm smells great. It helps that I love pilsener beers. wheat, oats, loads of euro-hops. mouthfeel is a little thin, the beer is also being served pretty warm. Flavor, onslaught of rustic woody bark-like hops with a slight sweetness that impales you with pine resin and just dank-ness. not west coast, still like a total saaz bomb but it is not overly refined.

Institute, Philadelphia tap ($6): Pours a golden colour with a white head. Aroma is resin and citrus, along with some bread. When I was drinking it, I didn’t realize it was a pilsner, mostly because I misread the name of the beer. Hoppiness and bitterness is strong. Good.
