22oz bottle shared by Dickinsonbeer. The color is a very dark yellow, looks almost like a dirty grapefruit skin. Aroma is citrus-y hops a la light grapefruit with some rubber (in a bad way) and a somewhat gasoline-lager aroma. Taste is strong malty lager with lemon edges and a bit of an apple off-flavor, which does not work well in this uber-pils.

My first zwickel and I was glad to have caught it at 3 Sons in wexford. Drank in the company of brewmaster Matt Allyn. Slightly cloudy pale yellow. Big and small bubbles abound in the head. Fresh pils aroma, rather interesting. Oooh boy, this stuff has a background flavor of a barn, cow manure and straw, but of course in a good saison way. Barely any carbonation. The manure is interestingly good to the taste buds but there is a bitter impact that keeps on building thru the session. Interesting but probably a little too complex for my simplistic lager taste buds.
