Erraticus 1 is a wild apple cider aged in white wine oak barrels with sweet aromatics and appealing funky yeast notes. Delicate flavors of sour apple and green grapes, shift to a sizable dryness and pleasant woodiness in the finish.

Fantastic! Tart red/green/crisp apples/peels; lemon/lime/zest/peach/pear/melon/white wine/hay/straw/grass; lt peppercorn/leather/musty funk. Semidry/semicrisp carb. Lt acid/tangy/tannic drying. No pucker/astringent. Refreshingly smooth. No warmth.

Bottle thanks to Lindsay. Pours a clear gold with a bubbly white head that dissipates to the edges and has visible carbonation. Aroma has bitter and slightly tart green apple with dry white wine and a hint of oaky funk supporting. Flavor has more sweet apple with a bitter bite and a white wine dryness coming through in the finish.
