Draught at the brewery - Golden/light amber with a white head. Citrus, floral hops and white bread in the aroma. Fairly hoppy taste, especially for a bock, with floral hops, mown grass, citrus plus hints of aniseed and chamomile.

Malty, slightly smoked aroma and flavor. Pear fruitiness. Medium to full bodied. Complex and interesting beer with a long smoky bitter finish. Light amber colored beer with a small long lasting head. 7 4 8 3 15 = 3.7. But the bottle I found in Amsterdam really sucked: buttery aroma with grassy hops. Buttery nutty bitter flavor. Full bdoed. malty, Werthers original flavor, so probably packed with diacetyl. Oily mouthfeel. Plastic. Alcoholic: 6 3 5 1 9 = 2.4. A third sample will have the make the verdict. And here’s the verdict. Brewery tap, from tap. Golden color, peach aroma. Malty flavor with peach and flowery and earthy hops powering through Just a bit alcoholic.

Bottle. Gold with a white head that never quite disappears. Aroma of bread, spices, some lemon. Still pretty light bodied, nice moderate carbonation. Tastes much as it smells with not all that much sweetness but a solid maltiness, immaculate clean palate, modest bitterness that is just enough to present itself as a finish. It's not very interesting but is very good of its ilk. Certainly the best beer I've had that has MORE ALCOHOL (auf Deutsch) on the front label.

Bottle, Heller Bock. Golden, sparkly, golden foam. Juicy malt with perfumed and grassy hop aroma. Medium full chewy fruity malt with a very good grassy bitter and light floral hop counterpoint. Herbal and grassy aftertaste. Sparkly. Quite quaffable.

500ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Shared with Richard. A covering white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Bright warm golden body. Malt-driven aroma, pale and brown malts, vague hints of wort. Mild caramel malty flavours, hints of almond and noble hops. Mid-sweet malty finish. Clean in the mouth. Fine with our lamb pie. Likable. (Tromsø 04.01.2019).

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Lys gylden. Middels høyt tett skum som daler sakte. God maltaroma. Smaken balansert. Tydelig maltpreg med hint av karamell. Lett tørr avslutning. Godt øl - men ikke spesielt mye julefølelse.

TCBW 2018, I think this was from the bottle. Pours golden with whiteish head. Aroma is sweet, malty, grainy. Flavor is sweet and bitter, malty, grainy, some caramel. Finish is dry-grainy bitter. Overall: solid bock.
