WHITE GOOSEBERRY MEAD

WHITE is an English and Welsh semi-sweet melomel made with white honeys (clover & alfalfa), seasoned with gooseberries. Since white currants are scarce, we’re using a related berry from the same Ribes genus, producing a similar flavor while maintaining the light color. In keeping with olde centuries Welsh tradition, we named it for the color of mead it produces.

Pairs with fish, rabbit and other wylde game, pheasant, duck, and other poultry, lamb, pork, cheese, and good company.
