Camelot Mead: bold but light, sweet, and sublime. Our mead is refreshingly different, a one-of-a-kind honey wine. Bright and fresh, with hints of sweet citrus. We've crafted Camelot Mead for more than 40 years. It defies traditional mead styles. One reason: our winemakers carefully select source-specific orange-blossom honey for the cleanest, purest character.

Sahred bottle. GOlden color. Aroma of honey, oranges, herbal notes, pineapples. Taste wasn't sweet as I expected, fruity, orang, tangerines, pineapples, some herbs. Good.

Alright well this is it. The last rating. I thought why not go back home and get something from my former home of Bloomington, plus I had wanted a mead for some time anyway. OK so this one isn't all that great. Light bodied, hints at honey and white wine, light solvent notes. Semi-sweet. Pale yellow-straw.

Bottle. Earthy flower and herbal honey aroma. Pale yellow. Sweet honey and light herbal hay flavor. Nice body. Very nice and at $6.99 for 750 mL a huge bargain.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with no head whatsoever. Aroma is full of sweet honey with a bit of dryness. Flavor is full of sweet honey with a bit of underlying light fruit.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a white wine glass. Pours almost clear with a yellow hue and no head. No lacing, no carbonation, medium body, and smooth texture. Taste is medium sweet honey and alcohol. Alcohol not covered.

From a 750ml bottle from Pick’s Liquors poured into a snifter. Pale yellow color. Some black chunks floating in it... Smells like alcohol and citrus fruits Taste is heavy sweet and light sour. I can definitely taste the honey and there is a strong taste of alcohol. Medium bodied, slick texture. soft carbonation and a long sweet finish. Overall, it’s not too bad. Has a nice honey flavor. Only downside is the strong taste of alcohol. Not really my thing. Also, the chunkies floating in here are kinda uncool. But, at 9 bucks a bottle its a pretty good deal.

I’ll tell you what, Vintage Estates has a lot of brews that I’ve never tasted. This stuff was from a bottle on the shelf. Very clear, the appearance of kerosene but it does have an ever so slight yellow tint. Smell is volatile like high alky fuel. taste is much better than the previous two experiences. Fruity palate and stronger alky impressions. OK, not bad for a mead.
