Sampled at Vintage Estate this mead poured a pale tan color. The aroma was sweet grape skins. The flavor was sweet grape skin, tannin, honey and almost wood. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

Great! Med-full honey sweetness; peach/pear/apple/white grape/herbal/floral/earthy spice; light vanilla/wood/brown sugar. Lightly warming. --- Beer merged from original tick of Crafted Tupelo on 12 Mar 2016 at 18:43 - Score: 8. Original review text:

Sample at the tasting room. Pours a clear pale honey color with sticky legs on the glass. Aroma of honey and oak. Full-boded with flavors of sweet honey, oak and a touch of fruit. The finish is sweet with an earthy and honey aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at the vintage. Clear watery appearance. Palate is a little watery at first compared to most mead. Alky up front. Some mild fruit in the background but does not hide alky well.
