Bottle sample at Moonlight Meadery, pours a clear dark reddish mahahony. Aroma brings out fresh tart and sweet blackberries, and wildflower honey. Flavour is along the same lines, with fresh tart blackberries and heavy sweet honey sweetness. Nice use of berries here. Excellent.

Fantastic! Lightly tart/tangy blackberry/skin/seeds/currant/red grape/apple/orange/floral/honey/brown sugar; lt cocoa/vanilla/herbal/nutty. Sweet/fullish body. Slight acid/tannin drying. Min warmth. No cloying. Dangerously smooth. Very rich/complex.

Bottle thanks to Dallas. Pours a dark reddish purple color, light legs. A big fruit nose, berries and a hint of heat. The flavor is sweet but not overly so, berries, not sticky, herbal tea. A light heat. Nice.
