On tap at Anchorage Brewing De Molen Tap Take-over: Poured somewhat black with some brown hues, head was tan. Aroma was dark fruit, licorice, boozy, and rich. Taste was a semi sweet forward fruit, roasted malt, chocolate shards, and coffee bean edge. Very complex.

Bottle at De Paas. Pours near black with a thick creamy tan head. Aroma of malt, toffee, fudge, dark chocolate, light soy, caramel and a little overripe dark fruitiness. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation. A very decent stout reminiscent of the older days of De Molen.

Tap (Szynkarnia, Wroclaw). Barwa niemal czarna, delikatnie opalizujaca, piana brazowa, srednio obfita, to samo z trwaloscia i lacingiem. Aromat w miare delikatny, slodki, czekoladowy z lekka nutka alkoholu, sheery w tle, bardzo przyjemny, zapowiada uczte zarowno dla zmyslu powonienia i smaku. Czekolada, szlachetny alkohol w smaku i o dziwo ta mieszanka jest calkiem pijalna, mimo swojej tresciwosci, lekko oleistej konsystencji i rozgrzewajacej mocy. Bardzo gladkie i delilatne w posmaku z malutkim kwaskiem na finiszu. Mozna powiedziec taki cichy zabojca. Swietny imperial stout ale do genialnosci troche brakuje.

Draft @ Ølfestival 2015. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty licorice aroma. Roasted malty licorice and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and coffee finish with hints of licorice.

Tap at Delfts bierfestival. Almost black with big almost beige head. Very grainy, almost wort like, nuts, light herbal, fruit yoghurt, milk chocolate. Quite sweet with very soft bitter finish. Almost full bodied with average carbonation.

Bottled 12/2014. black color, small dark coffee-colored head. smell of malty roast, some dried fruits, raisins, lightly sour, liqueurish, light alcohol, light sweetness. full body, soft carbonation, full mouthfeel. tastes malty sweet, some roast notes, coffee, milky, light smoke notes, some sweetness, light dried fruits, lightly sour. finishes with roasted malt and some sweetness. wow, great beer. I really like the combination of lightly sour notes, some smoke / earthy notes and some sweetness, makes it really easy to drink.
