330ml bottle. Hazy, dark brown colour with a thin layer of off-white to beige bubbles on top. Sweet-ish, toasty, slightly nutty and minimalyl smoky, malty aroma, a touch of caramel and nougat, toffee. Taste is initially sweet-ish, nutty malty, slightly toasty, fruity hoppy hints of red berries, a touch of caramel, toffee and nougat, later minimally ashy-smoky, and dry, leafy, a bit watery overall. Soft to flat carbonation.

30.06.2019 -- 0.33l bottle from rewe hennig in münster, bb 21.12.2019. pours a murky chestnut with almost no head. aroma of barley wine, molasses, chocolate. flavour is less sweet and lighter than expected from the nose, with coffee, roast notes, plums. nice bitterness in the finish. lots of sediment, chalky mouthfeel, flat carbonation.

Dark brown beer, small head. Malt, roast, fruit, caramel, coffee/choco. Taste is the same, bittersweet, nice.

Süßlicher, minimal rauchig-hellmalziger Beginn. Geringe Herbe, süffig, keine Röstnoten. Die zunehmend Trockenheit gefällt, geringe Karbonisierung. Nett. 9/9/9/9//9
