2, 3 and 4 year old lambic with Schaarbeekse and Gorsem cherries. 18 month maceration in pinot noir barrels. Due to the extended maceration, the beer underwent a spontaneous malolactic fermentation, making the beer softer on the palate and richer in the body. Following an old kriek lambic recipe from 1907, Ceylon cinnamon sticks were added to the barrels. The result is a smooth and rich winterkriek.

Bottle pour at Arrogant Sour Festival 2024. Dark ruby with small pinkish head. Cherries, grapes, barrel, some funk, medium sourness, bit spicy.

Bottle pour, taster. @MBCC 2024, Copenhagen (Denmark). 10/05/2024 [#7.216 Global - #288 Belgium - #3 Bokke] Pours reddish ruby with a small off white head. Aroma: sour cherries, red grapes and tart. Taste: grapes must, sour cherry and oak barrels. Balanced acidity. Rounded palate. Next one, please!

Bottle thanks to Heath. Pours a dark ruby with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong cherry skin, grape, oak, funk. Medium body, funky, sweet cherry, grape must, oak, nice tartness, enjoyed this.

Flaska från Bokke, 2017. Supertjusig fyllig mörk rödlila med rosaröd krona. Rejält körsbärspackad, körsbärskärnor, tydliga mandeltoner, mineral, lite lakto-toner. Ganska mjuk och snäll syra. Kanelen inte direkt märkbar. Förväntade mig fyllig körsbärsbomb. Rejält med körsbär, men samtidigt mjuk och elegant.

Beautiful deep purplish red, clear beer with a small cyclamen rim. Sourish, with intense sour cherry and indeed a bit of cinnamon, as from a Sunday bun. As cherry pie indeed; cherries, cinnamon, lactic acid, fruitacids. Serious acidthinning and -burn, bit fruitslick, not very carbonated. Intense cherrybeer with balanced spicing.
