bottle kindly shared by Cuso shared at Slovak Austrian RB Tasting. Bottled 2011. almost black color, medium big tan head. strong liqueurish smell, malty roast, some sweetness, dried fruits, coconut. full body, soft carbonation, full mouthfeel. tastes malty sweet, coconut, citric, liqueurish, dried fruits. coconuty / sweeet finish. quite nice.

Appearance: Bottled 15/1-2013. Very dark brown, pretty flat, actually.
Aroma: Dark fruit, raisins, slight alcohol.
Taste: More dark fruit, some sort of tingling bitterness, nice and warming. Great.

(330ml bottle @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Jan 23 2015) Pours deep brown with a small dense lingering off white head. Nose of burnt sugar, overripe and stewed fruit, bread pudding. Palate has a lot of burnt sugar and toffee, light chocolate malt perhaps, bready yeast, medicinal herbs, dark fruits, quite sweet almost all the way through with a bit of a spicy note to it and very light alcohol heat on the finish. Medium body with sharp but kinda creamy carb. Not a bad Belgian strong really, but it doesn’t match the exceptional complexity or balance of the best abbey ales.

Tap@Fermentoren, CPH - dark brown with a good tan head. Dark fruity and sweet malty aroma and taste, lots of dried fruit, chocolate, caramal, brown sugar, some nice spice, solid brew.

Tap @ Fermentoren, Kbh. Nice creamy head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich and very sweet dark dried fruits, malt, caramel and hops. Sweet and full bodied. Candy sugar.

330ml bottle, thanks to Benzai. Pours black with minimal tan head and almost no carbonation. Raisin aroma. Taste is silky liquorice and dark fruits. Nice but didn’t exactly blow me away.

Vloeibare Raider/Twix, met nog ergens een opgedroogde bank-rozijn. 😛
