Bottle: Cloudy brown with a moderate tan head. Fruit, tree bark aroma. Taste is light, malty......just reminds me of tree-like flavours.... Woody, but sweet. Apple notes, lightly toasted malt. Very enjoyable.

From a pounder bottle. Nice big brown clear pour with a tad of orange red. Smell is a bit cloying but yes, some hops poke thru to the olfactory. Taste is about the same but there is this mild tartness in there that gives it a bit of a farmy effect, not much tho. Some very mild barely detectable carbonation. Ropey and leathery at times, could be a little more well behaved. Will not appeal to a lager lover. Slight sweet medicinal finish. Sometimes I thought I was sipping an ipa. There, you have it.

bottle - Pours dark amber-brown with an off white head. It has a toasted caramel malt aroma. The flavor is of rich toasted caramel malt with a solid, bitter balance. It’s medium bodied and finishes with some good bitterness.

Sampled from the tap at the Milwaukee location. Pours a clear amber with an off white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice floral note with light hops and backing cereal. Flavor has notes of sweet grains and cereal with a bit of light fruit in the finish.

Pours deep amber into a shaker. Off-white head quickly recedes to hug rim. Caramel aromas. Bread, caramel, toffee and nuts from front to back. Dry mild resin finish.
