Clear copper with a voluminous, chunky dark tan head. Aroma is malt, dusty, dry hops.. Caramel, cardboard flavours... Average.....but barely.

Bottle from a trade with jmikolich. Pours clear dark copper color with off white head. Aroma of toasted malts with a hint of floral hops. Toasted malt flavor with some caramel sweetness. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Thanks Jim.

On draught at Grog Shop. This beer is a clear brownish-amber color with a thin off-white head that burns away to an outer ring quickly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of floral hops and pale malt. Medium body with flavors of hops, caramel malt and a touch of citrus. The finish is moderately hoppy with a short citrus aftertaste. Pretty average overall.

This must be a different brew than the one from 2009 as rated below, much more than a lager, heheh. I think its more close to 7% ABV. . This is a big beer. Darker brownish color with a nose of sweet malty flowery thing. Taste is super over the top personality of sweet malty alcohol turnbuckle. Carob alky stuff. Wew! New! Dew! Yep, you know you are drink-en something with this stuff. Difficult at times. Feels like an older high alky beer of some sort, not only is this un lagerlike but its way more than yer typical APA fer sure! Long bitter roto-tilling finish If you like big beers, give this a try, its strong something all righty. I just don’t happen to like BIG beers too much.
