ABV: 17.5%. Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, rich, malty, woody, alcohol, bread, caramel, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, alcohol, wood - woody, licorice - dark fruit - dried fruit, heavy, rich, malty. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light to moderate alcoholic. [20201003]

Frothy white fair mostly lasting head. Dark red amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel, rich fruits, licorice and hops. Nice warming finish.

18th November 2019 Opaque black- brown beer, good bubbly dark tan head. Smooth palate, incredibly light for the enormous 17% abv. Woody spicy dark malts with a reasonable dark chocolate undertone. Brandy mid reminds of you of the weight this one carries. Smooth finish delivers more woodyness, savoury this time. Stupid drinkable, enjoyed the last mouthful as much as the first.
