Tap, Pivo & Burger Fest. Pitch black, coffee coloured head, thin ring. Strong malty nose, wet grains, soy sauce, lots of dry fruits, slight roast. Some alcohol notes in the nose. Silky body, medium full. Strong sweetness, some chocolate and lots of dry fruits (prunes, figs), some sugar. Gentle roast, very warming alcohol, not really burning, just slightly as it warms. Very strong, 1dl is probably my max.

Bottle. Black. Maltsyrup and roast in the aroma. Syrupy. Sweet with roast and licorice. Warming alcohol.

Sampled at BXL festival. Black with light brown head. Massive thick sweet roasted malts, strong licorice, booze, dry earthy roast, massive molasses and cane sugar. Very very sweet, quite bitter. Thick syrupy bodied with boozy finish.

BXL ‘19. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of booze, rich sweet malt, intense licorice, toffee and chocolate. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
