Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: black in color with a two finger khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some mild messy lace
Aroma: sweet cream, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, coffee, whiskey and barrel/woody sweet & spiciness, vanilla, and a light sweet ash further underneath
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to roasty character; finishes chocolatey, woody and vanilla-ish
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper; very smooth along the tongue with a delicate spice to hit the tongue slightly, also a sly dryness on the tongue as well
Overall: a very nicely impy stout well worthy of coming back to.

backlog. Pours black with a small tan head. It smells of dark roast malt, coffee, and bourbon. The flavor is of bourbon, roast malt, coffee, chocolate, and booze. It's full bodied with a roasty, bourbon finish. Excellent.

Brown-black pour with a medium beige head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Aroma of malt, whiskey and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky whiskey, rye malt and bittersweet chocolate. The finish is oaky and slightly creamy with a rye whiskey and malt aftertaste. Solid beer all around.

2019 vintage bottle from Holiday Market. Pours a dark brown with a finger of brown head that dissipates. Big peppery whiskey aromas...I assume rye barrel aged. Baker's chocolate, cacao nib and mild soy sauce aromas with some toasted vanilla. Cacao nib, roasted malt, soy sauce, tobacco and vanilla on the palate. Lots of spicy rye whisky flavors on the palate. Quite complex with a lingering dark malt, espresso, charred note that lingers. Rye whisky on the finish.
