Nice gin aromatics with lime. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Lime and gin aromatic notes. Solid.

Draught at Callister, Vancouver
Dull and cloudy green-gold color, almost no head. The aroma is a bit footy, with notes of lemonade. The beer is indistinguishable, the barrel character is too strong, fresh juniper berries and twigs, lemon peel, herbal, some vegetables, and very boozy.
I’m sorry that only gin barrels are locally available to satiate the palate of Vancouver hipsters, because these Odd Society beers are all messy, dominated, herbal, and rather unpleasant.

On tap at Callister, pours a hazy dull copper golden with a small white head. Aroma is dominated by very floral botanical notes, leaving not much else to be detected. Flavour follows accordingly, with tons of floral notes and botanicals, a little celery, and booze. Every single Odd Society BA beer I've had tried so far has been absolutely dominated by the barrel. Could use a little more refinement and a subtler contribution from the barrel aging. Brutal stuff.
