Ime za to pivo je nastalo povsem spontano. Priklopili smo testni sod v lokalnem pubu, s pipe pa je pritekla motna, živorumena tekočina, ki je dišala že ob točenju v kozarec. Po prvem požirku pa smo vedeli, da je to JU-PI.

Gre za pšenično pivo ameriškega stila, ki nima okusa po bananah, kot ga imajo klasična pšenična piva. Poudarek je na aromatičnem hmelju, ki ponudi veliko arome in okusa. Mi smo uporabili Citro in Mosaic.

Bottled 330ml. -from Hofer Brežice. Unclear golden coloured, medium sized white head, light cardboard in the nose. Sweet malty, some oranges, light cardboard and oxidation with bitterish finish. High carbonation.

Bottle at BBT dec/2021. There are definite properties of wheat beer - spicy phenols, lemony, light fruitiness. But it is all killed with a pretty strong astringency, moderate sourness. Evidently went bad, lightly vomity, but mostly just soured with spoilage bacteria. Bad.

Bottle at BBT December 2021. PalI golden with white head. Aroma of earthy notes, light sourness. Taste, infection, sourness, harsh yeasty bitterness.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma is grainy, citrusy and floral. Pours hazy pale golden color with medium sized soapy white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts tart citrusy, vinous and acetic, following is bready and grassy, while finish is medium bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Not a gem…

On tap at 13th Beer & Burger festival, Ljubljana. Shared with Professor Vesna and Schumi. Murky golden, small off-white head. Lightly to moderately hoppy, fruity, stone fruit, peach, citrus, orange, toasty malts. Light body, slightly watery. Bread. Soft to moderate carbonation. Light finish.

Tap, Krško Beer Fest. Extra hazy, plae yellow, small white head, not lasting. Strong and pleasant tropical fruity nose, pineapple and citruses in abundance. Solid citrusy start, gentle bitterness and peppery finish. Light body, very fresh. Summer brew. Nice.
