Traditional English dark beer enlivened with the Slovene hops Bobek. On aroma and taste one can detect caramel, dark chocolate, nuts and roasted coffee. Regardless, the beer is lighter with a low alcohol content and low carbonization. It washes down nicely especially with meaty foods.

On tap at Pivo and Burger Fest, Ljubljana. Murky brown, small lasting beige head. Very fruity, red fruits, dried fruit. Flavours also give out nutty, toasty, light roasty and light coffee. Good balance, moderately lasting dry finish. Creamy, soft texture, light to medium body, moderate carbonation. Again, a very good Slovenian take on an English classic.

Pours dark chestnut brown, topped with a medium sized beighe head, not so lasting, Gentle but easily picked up malty nose with biscuits, some caramel and more noticeable nuttiness. Very silky body and relatively full. Slight roastiness upfront, some chocolate sweetnessa nd a bit of bitterness on teh finish. Gentle aftertaste. Very simple but really tasty. Easily drinkable but still with character.
