Traditional English dark beer enlivened with the Slovene hops Bobek. On aroma and taste one can detect caramel, dark chocolate, nuts and roasted coffee. Regardless, the beer is lighter with a low alcohol content and low carbonization. It washes down nicely especially with meaty foods.

Bottle at Loo Blah Nah Pub Center. Murky muddy brown body, head gone soon. Nutty malty, bit yeasty aroma. Medium to dry body, low astringency. Bit nutty, light soapy and herbal body. Pretty drinkable. Decent take, not great.

Bottle, 0.50l. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, nuts, caramel and flowers. Pours clear ruby brown color with medium sized soapy tan-like head, good lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel and light roasted malt, following is nutty, grassy and coffee-like, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Good yeah jah...

Bottle, 0.5l. Deep ruby, almost black pour. One finger soapy beige head, short lasting. Solid lacing on the glass as it goes down. Nose is grains, roasted malt with notes of cocoa and caramel. Mostly thin body, average carbonation. Light texture, a bit watery. Balanced roasty bittersweet taste with subtle fruity sour notes. Aroma is malty, caramel and roasted, grains. Faint cocoa notes. Strong dark fruits flavor, very pleasant lingering fruity aftertaste. Really nice and it actually makes it stand from the crowd out a bit. Short to medium finish. Nicely balanced all around. Simple but tasty, really good porter.
