Malinca

Bottled. Orangeish amber colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some slight floral, hrbal and earthy notes with nice raspberries too. Flavour is raspberries, malts, some slight floral and mild fruity tones. Mild on the raspberries, otherwise quite pleasant.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of raspberry and wheat. Pours murky dirty pink color with medium sized creamy pink head, lots of fruit residue and sparkling appearance. Taste starts light sweet and sour grainy, follows by refreshing raspberry juice, luckily not sweet at all, however completely lacks body and finish. Light body, thin texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. No go for me unless we talk about prickly carbonated drinks for diabetics...

On tap at Ljubljana Beer & Burger Festival, April 2018. Cloudy pinkish orange, small off-white head. Light raspberry juice, raspberry cake, very light malts. Sweet and juicy, no acidity, no hops. The fruit is nice, the style is secondary here. Light to medium body, moderate to high carbonation, drinkable and refreshing, light finish. Just fruit here, not much else but still the fruit is nice.

Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy red/pink pour, one finger soapy white head. Short lasting, minimal lacing. Nose is pretty much all raspberry and candy, quite sweet. Thin body, medium to high carbonation. Fizzy mouthfeel, light texture. Sweet and sour taste, lots of fruity tart. Aroma of raspberry and citrus fruit, some grassiness. Quite simple, really. A bit dry. Overall, not bad but nothing to write home about either.

Pours completely hazy, orange-red, topped with medium and nonlasting white head. Quite strong raspberry nose, sweet in character. Nothing else gets through it. Taste is a combination of sweetness and fresh and light fruity soury character. Later some bitterness and leathery feel in the finish. A bit herbal in teh aftertaste. Light bodied and refreshing.
