On tap at Krško Craft Beer Fest 2024. Shared with Marko and Ogi. Aroma is roasty and burnt, soft fruity notes. Roasty, and burnt, charred wood flavour. Quite flavourful. Hints of nuts and vanilla. Smooth, soft, light body, not strong. Minimal bitterness, roasty finish, balanced. Good stout.

Bottle, 0.50l. Pours pitch black with thin creamy light brown head and fair lacing. Aroma of mild roasted malt, yeast, sweat, wheat and overripe fruit. Taste starts with sweet mild roasted malt and caramel, follows by honey, dried fruit and some sour notes, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Probably the best APE beer, but still lots of room for improvement...

Pours a dark brown, topped with a rather small beige head. Nice and easy to pick up chocolate nose, with very subtle roasty feel. Taste starts chocolate sweet, helped by a mild fruity (berry) sweetness. Finishes with some very gentle roastiness and it just flows away easily. Medium body, more on the sweet side of the stout style, just a slight alco warmth in the end, but in general very nice.
