Pours a dark brown color, almost black, topped with a pretty sizeable and lasting beige head. Gentle but lovely aroma, a combo of chocolate, mild biscuity notes, some coffee and fruity back. Mild malty sweetness upfront, spicy/peppery notes following, pretty noticeable, but not too intense. Mild hoppy bitterness in the finish, also in aftertaste. Just a tad of soury notes in the end. Medium bodied.
