(Bottled 06 Feb 2018). Red wine, leather, vinegar, prune, malt, musty horseblanket, and hay aroma. Dark brown with minimal tan head. Minimally sweet cherry, prune, malt, dry red wine, mildly sour vinegar/Brett, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body.

Bottle split, big thanks to Ian, at GBBF '22 day 1, 02/08/22. Light haze on a mahogany brown pour with a good sized beige cap. Nose is tarte dried fruits, vinous tones, funk, light acidic nostril tickle, fruit balsams. Taste comprises big fruited balsams, funk, hay bale, acidic rise, vinous, stewed fruits, sharp fruit esters. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced acidic spike. Solid kit.

Bottle, 75cl corked, at Jæren Ølfestival. It’s a hazy one, brown in color, with some beige bubbles. The aroma is funky and fruity-tart, with a light caramel hint, leather and some bread. It’s full-bodied, tart and nicely carbonated, super-sour, with a lot of funkiness in the flavor. Caramel, chocolate, leather and nut notes, with lemon, barnyard, and loads of acidity. Generic fruityness. Lasting finish. Too intense this one, but there’s still lots of good things going on. 220813.

GBBF Day 1. Bottle. Thanks to Harrisoni. Light haze on this amber beer, small pale tan head. Gueuzey tartness along with light punchy ripe fruits. Some balsamic. Mellow red wine fruits. Dry finish. Not easy drinking but tasty.
