Kalea Bier-Adventkalender 12.12.2016 (Österreich-Edition) Das erste Bier bei dem ich so neugierig war, dass ich es noch am gleichen Tag trank, in dem es im Kalender zu finden war In dem Punkt, dass man das BIer in einem Zug austrinken könnte, muss ich meinen Bewerter-Kollegen zustimmen. Das Bier ist aufgrund seiner Milde sehr süffig. Für manche mag es ein bisschen langweilig wirken, aber es ist alles da, was man braucht. Als Einstieg in einen gemütlichen Bierverkostungsabend auf jeden Fall sehr gut geeignet.

0,33l bottle at home. BB 01.03.2016. dark yellow clear shiny color, medium big white head that disappears rather quick. smells citric, flowery, but unfortunatly rather cardboardish, light herbs, tobacco, light honey, lightly fruity. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes malty sweet, tobacco, berry notes, flowery, light honey, candy, caramel. finishes a bit dry and lightly bitter with light citric and tobacco notes. after taste has a light sweetness to it. decent enough beer, has a light uncleanliness on the smell, not noticeable on the taste, overall drinkable.

Pours a completely clear golden content. There is a generous white foamy head, but with no real retention. The aroma is slightly malty, but the nose hardly picks up anything at all. Very neutral smell. The body is slightly watery, sweet beginning followed by a mild bitterness. It’s drinkable, but there’s no real taste to it, plus a bit of that unpleasant metallic feel.

Bottle. Clear, dark golden body, with medium, frothy, white head, that dissipates quickly. Aroma of hay, grain, biscuit, some caramel. Taste is watery, with grain, bread and sweet malt. Thin mouthfeel, lively carbonation and finishes light bitter, without many aromas. Pretty boring, much too thin.

A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt combined with lighter notes of straw.
