Tropical Pale Ale begins with a base of soft pilsner malt layered with Maris Otter, Munich and caramel malts. Huge late hopping with a blend of Mosaic, Citra, Topaz, Calypso and Azacca lends bright flavors of mango, pear, blueberry and citrus to a pale ale featuring slightly toasted biscuit and caramel/toffee notes. Tropical Pale Ale is infused with grapefruit peel, grapefruit juice and passion fruit juice at the conclusion of the boil, resulting in a refreshing acidity and bold tropical fruit flavor and aroma. Currently available on draft with cans scheduled to be released starting in the Greater Kansas City Area on May 10th with other regions soon to follow, Tropical Pale Ale is 5.9 ABV and 45 IBU.

Can. Cloudy gold. Bitterness in taste and Grapefruit in aroma. Mostly just grapefruit. I don't get any passion fruit.

Draught. Deep golden colour with a creamy small white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, some fruits and mild earthy and dusty tones. Flavour is bitter grass, some grapefruit, mild sweet malts and some earthy tones. Feels like the keg is quite old.

Can at Big Texas Beer Fest. Pours a hazy orange with medium frothy white head. The aroma is tropical fruit and floral. Thin body, fruity hop, citrus, light bitter finish, very good.

Tap at William K. Kurvi, Helsinki. Color is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some fruits, some minerals, some hops and malts. Not fresh.

Keg @ William K, kurvi. Poured deep golden color with a thick white head. Stuffy, malty, some fruits. Dry, bitter with some grapefruit. Past its prime.

Draft @ 2018 Great Vegas Festival Of Beer. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty tropical hoppy aroma. Fruity malty tropical fruit hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty tropical fruit hoppy finish.

Tap at Wishbeer Home Bar, Bangkok. Poured a crystal clear copper colour with a short-lived frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is malt, light buttery yeast, light tropical citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, malty, slightly watery, tart grapefruit, light floral metallic dry hop bitter palate and a lingering floral bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Tap at Taphouse München. Cloudy golden, offwhite head. Dry grassy, citric, grape like hop aroma. Medium body, dry foamy sparkly. Tropical entry, grapes, dry notes, lightest hay, pleasant fruity finish. Good drinking beer.

Draught @ Olutravintola Jano, Helsinki. Tart, sourish and slightly exotic tropical fruity with sweet passion fruit, citrus and grapefruit. Not very fresh, feels a bit unclean.
