Bottle shared at home. Black with light tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts. Sweet christmas pudding, very dark roast, fruity sweet stuff. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared. Black with light beige head. Marzipan, flowery, rum, raisins, sweet Chai spices with Christmas pudding, winegums, chewing gum, confit fruits, perfume, soapy, roasted malts, coffee, sweet malts, caramel. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Almost full bodied. Seems a but flowery and artificial, but overall it's interesting and tasty enough. Really smells like chemical flavoring though.

Bottle. Almost black. Caramelly bready aroma with cinnamon, and raisin. Massively sweet flavor with raisin and amandelspijs, vanilla and a hint of rum.

On tap at Brouwcaf de Molen, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma reveals intense rum barrels—not sure I've smelled a beer so intense on rum barrels—with medium roast underneath. Flavour is no less intense, with a mind-boggling amount of rum barrels, gentle wood, and medium roast. Over-the-top extreme — becomes difficult to drink after a while. Monstrous and brutal but it is nicely done for what it is.
