Pours hazy orange topped with a larger though not so lasting white head. Gentle nose, some sweet fruits, melon bubblegum and some very mild spicy wheatiness. Gentle sweetness, medium bitterness and quite herbal finish. No real aftertaste. Not enough carbo to make it fresh. Not too nice.

Draught (Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm) - Hazy light amber with a white head. Banana, toffee and peach in the aroma. Fairly sweet taste with skumbanan, melon, orange and vanilla detected. Refreshing and enjoyable.

Tap at Zum Franziskaner. Hazy yellow with creamy, white head. Banana candy, bubblegum, cloves and white pepper. Super balanced. Delicious.

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours cloudy amber with a typical head. Aroma is banana, bubblegum, cloves, coriander. Body is medium, beautifully spiced, banana and pear flavours. Very typical, and very good.

Draught @ Zum. Well made and drinkable weisse with heavy notes of candy banana and citrus. Slightly spicy (clove, cardamom). Pretty hoppy for the style. Nice soft mouthfeel.

Hazy golden. Aroma is banana and a bit berries. Taste is bitter hop overtone, some canned peach, a bit tobacco and ash in the finish. Umami and a bit sweet but not so full bodied.

Bottle. Cloudy orange, low lacing head. Minerally banana, honey lemon and tropical aroma. Medium body, chewy dry, minerals, nice tropicals, herbal, spice, some cheesecake. Dry tropical finish. Nice.

On tap at Café Abseits, pours a hazy orange with some sticky, white head. Nose is yeasty, estery, some clove, some banana, a little orange peel, some curacao orange too. Flavor is a little different, there’s more cantaloupe here, orange, some vanilla too, clove, banana. Finishes off dry, lightly creamy. Very interesting. Reads hefeweizen but has a little nuance too it.

Zwickeled by Andreas Gänstaller himself. Hazy bright yellow color with huge white head. Aroma is thick banana cream, bready, dusty wheat, melon. Taste is the same, very thick and full. Thick oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Fantastic Weizen!
