200ml draught, 7 % abv, at the brewpub. Tiny beige head to a deep black coloured body. Patchy lacing. Oatmeal and earthy malts on the nose. Taste of oatmeal and chocolate. Malt bitter ending. Well bodied. Not overly sweet. Pleasing (Oslo 19.06.2014).

On tap @ crowbar. A deep dark brown one with a small islandy, lacing and light brown top. Definitely not to double or extreme on the nose. Mild, kinda milky lactal sweet with a nice coffee tone. Also a little bit of chocolate. The mouthfeel on this is really pleasant and oily, while the carbonation level is about average. Chocolate flavors, there is even a little bit of alcohol swirling in the mouth along with lots of dark roastiness and dark ripe berries. One if the more interesting once I've had from Crowbar, but still it's not something to scream hooray about. 24.05.2013

On tap at Crowbar. Clear dark brown with a reddish hue and a small beige head with some lacings. Fairly mild aroma of roasted malts with dark fruits, dark chocolate and hints of hops and caramel. Quite sweet and mild in flavour, but with some dryness and quite decent bitterness in the finish. Easy to drink and quite nice.

24.05.2013, tap @ Crowbar:
Small shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral, typical Crowbar, roasted coffee and grain, chlorine, grass, chocolate, licorice. Taste is slightly dry, "sour-ish", roasted coffee, grass, hay, licorice. Medium bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Still not a fan of Crowbar’s own beers.
