Gravity cask at Dudley beer festival. Pours black with no head. Aroma is tar, cola and liquorice. Taste has tar and cola to start with liquorice on the finish.

Tap at IMBC; dark brown pour with tan head, syrupy aroma, very sweet taste dark fruits alcohol is present.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 3/9/2013. Almost black in colour with a slick of a tan head. Dark fruits, bitter chocolate and some dusty yeastiness, before a toasty finish. Alcohol was well concealed. A great beer to savour.
