Sample. Deep mahogany colour, small head. Woody, vinegary nose with dark berries. Acetic with underlying sweetness. Near full bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Vinous wood, vinegar and balsamic cherries. Peppery finish.

Dark brown, traces of white head. Smell is sour, surprisingly fruity, definitely wine, wood. Body has a nice slight thickness to it, low carbonation, bit of pucker. Taste is sour and pretty sweet, nicely rounded. Woody, balsamic, vinous, some cherry.

Clear brownish ruby beer with a small dark-cream head. Nice sourish-fruity nose, notes of lactic acid, red fruit, hints of fruit-filled chocolate. Good balance sweet-sour if more towards the latter. Lots of lactic acid, fruitacids, pretty complex. Serious acidburn, acidthinning, some slickness. Low carbonation. Pretty seriously sour, but still a very good Oud Bruin. If there's Chardonnay, I can't find it.
